The North GA Local is a local business directory operated by Simple Acceleration Systems, LLC. Simple Acceleration Systems, LLC decides what this directory contains and is responsible for the personal data described below.

Most listings on this site were not submitted by the businesses themselves. They are compiled from Google Places, which publishes business names, addresses, phone numbers, websites, opening hours, ratings and photographs as public information.

This means a business may appear here without having asked to. If a listing is yours and you want it corrected or removed, see “Removing a listing” below — you do not need an account to ask.

If you contact a business through this site we collect the name, email address and phone number you enter, together with your message and the listing it relates to.

We use it to pass your enquiry to that business and to let them reply. The business you contacted receives all of it — that is the point of sending it.

Claiming a listing means telling us you own or represent that business. We collect your email address, which you confirm by entering a code we send to it; your name and your role at the business; optionally a phone number; and any message you add.

We also store a record of the confirmation you tick when you submit — the exact wording shown to you, its version, and the time you agreed. We keep that so both sides can see what was agreed, and it is the reason the wording is dated.

A claim is reviewed by a person before it is granted.

We count page views so the businesses listed here can see how often their listing is seen. We do not use cookies, local storage or any tracking script to do it, and nothing we store can be used to recognise you on another site.

For each page view we record which page was viewed, when, and a one-way code. The code is calculated from your IP address, your browser's user-agent and a secret key that changes every day — and the previous day's key is destroyed. Your IP address itself is never stored.

Because the key changes daily and the old one is destroyed, a code recorded yesterday cannot be matched to one recorded today. That means we can tell how many distinct people visited on a given day, but not whether the same person came back later in the week.

Visits from search-engine crawlers and other automated traffic are not counted, and neither are visits from the people who run this directory.

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and shows no cookie banner because it does not need one.

If you sign in to manage a listing you own, a session cookie keeps you signed in. It is required for that to work and is removed when you sign out.

Enquiries and claim records are kept while the directory operates, because they are the record of what a business was told and what was agreed. Ask us and we will delete yours.

Email support@simpleaccelerationsystems.com. Tell us the business or the listing and what you want done — corrected, removed, or a copy of what we hold.

You do not need an account and you do not need to have claimed the listing. If you are asking on behalf of a business we may ask you to confirm you are connected to it, because we cannot let one business remove another's listing.
